Fees & Costs

A lawyer’s fee can be calculated according to one of the following methods

1. hourly rate

The lawyer will register the hours he spends on the case and charges the client accordingly.

2. worth of the case

The fee will be calculated as a percentage of the worth of the case. The worth of the case will also include the interests.

3. fixed fee

A fixed fee can be agreed in those cases for which the value cannot (easily) be determined, f.i. in criminal law, family law, immigration law.

4. long-term agreements

For regular professional clients, special tailor-made agreements can be worked out, which ensure a clear and cost-effective cooperation.

The costs are the expenses made by the lawyer, in relation to the specific case. Those include general costs and specific costs
